Seems like you are also into barbs. Why dont you also try red-tailed barbs? They are not that frequently available too.

They are very few and far between in the UK - especially the more unusual species - occasionally they pop up on availability lists - usually from malaysia or singapore - many species are restricted - so no humpback mahseer in the UK - darn

I only know of one or two other keepers in the UK.

Those look more than a little like what I thought Tor khudree looks like - same hump, shorter body than T. mussullah. I have what are id'ed as T. mussullah and they have considerably longer bodies than those fish pictured.
