In my AE86
The only poly imo that has a temper would be the ornate bichir. My ornate had a slight temper and was very territorial. As far as growth rate they all very, some grow quick and then slow down, some grow average every month, and some just take for ever lol...
Other then that they are very chill fish.

Polys just get curious and bite at things haha.
Other than that they mind their own business most of the time.
They grow depending on what and how often you feed them.
Possibly an inch every three months if well-fed?
Remember, fed OFTEN NOT EXCESSIVELY.

My endli grew from 2-3 inch to about 9 inch in 2-3 months... He was not aggressive at all but when I transferred him into my big tank he got a hiding place and defended it but other than that their not aggressive.
My three polys live happily with clown loaches!

The Pleco may give the bichir some trouble. They may suck the slime coat off the bichirs. As for the jardini it shouldn't both the bichir if the bichir is big enough

I haven't had any problems with my bichirs being aggressive. I have weather loaches and cory cats in with them currently. No aggression from anyone.
