Ok heres the deal, In my 75 I have a jag. Its bare bottom right now and just a black background. I have a aquaclear 110, a eheim 2026 and 2 eheim aquaball 1212 powerheads used for surface agitation. I wanted to get that black tahitian moon sand in my 75 to bring out the color in my jag. My question is does that sand get kicked up easily?? The way my filters and powerheads are set up it doesnt let the leftover food settle and my filters pick it up so im worried that the sand will get kicked up and mess up my filters

if you want

but that stuff is really light and since you said that you have a JAG which move gravel all the time
it will end up in your filters sometimes

but if you like get it but raise the filters up higher
:D

good luck

I had a Jag in a 75g with Black Sand. It looked great and I never had that big of an issue with him moving around sand. I had more problems with the Oscar doing that. And even then, it wasn't a big issue. Here's some pics for you to see.

That's a good idea, put a sponge over the intakes. I like sand, but it does have it's negatives.
