You get better pothos growth when the leaves are out of water.

REDIRECTING CONVERSATION TO PLANTS:
What plants would do good and make it through the Winter.
I have a good selection in my planted tank. I don't even remember what all types of plants I have.
I ordered a mix from someone in a forum.
They are doing well, but I still am learning what plants need and all.
I will put some ivy ( Pothos ) in there as suggested. I just need to figure out how to keep leaves out of the water.
Maybe tie it in the corner.
