I recently went to a very reputable LFS and I saw they had mudskippers. I saw that there were newts in the tank also so I asked an employee how the newts were okay in brackish water and he informed me that it wasn't brackish it was just FW with a little bit of aquarium salt. Now I thought that I saw somewhere that mudskippers had to be kept in brackish water. He told me that they never keep their skippers in brackish water and that they would live full and healthy lives in FW. Is it true that they can live in pure FW?
Can Mudskippers live in FW??????
