CATLOCARPIO SIAMENSIS giant siamese carp feeding question??

Hello about to purchase a CATLOCARPIO SIAMENSIS its about 4 inches and im wondering what ppl have theres feding on if theres any keepers out there???

They eat pretty much any type of fish food pellets.

Read that there mainly eating vegetation and micro foods in the wild so do i go for that equivalent in pellets like algae waffers or use a high protein pellet for like sturgeon pellets or even koi carp pellets

if you get them captive bred, they'll eat almost anything you give em. if yours is wild caught, they usually come with parasites so you have to get rid of them first or they dont put on any weight

Thank you i didnt buy one in the end when i seen them they were tiny and in poor condition

Fed them several smallish meals a day much like feeding grass carp

They were at a place called A5 aquatics in Leicestershire they were very cheap too about 30 or 40 quid wish i had got one now
