Yesterday my wife fell in love with an albino cichlid. It was white with a blue edge to the fins...we brought it home and it it in our cichlid tank (55g). Well the fish was then orange while floating to adjust to water temp. When we let it out it looked more red and started to swim head at a downward angle and appeared to be getting picked on by the rest of the tank. We put it in a quarantine tank for observation. Now this morning it is pink with an orange head. . what kinda fish have we got?? Why is it changing colors like this?? Herebisba picture of it

It's an African peacock its probably stressed out causing colour changes , what's the pH in your water at ? Africans need higher levels of pH than American cichlids
