If you plan on breeding them over and over, it is way easier to suck out the babies to a new tank and let the parents stay where they are already comfy.....

All you do is wait till nighttime (No tank lights on for a least 30 minutes, and no outside light as well), then syphon them into a bucket as soon as you turn thier lights on.

This way they are 'sleeping' and are oblivious to the syphon.
