Welcome to MonsterFishKeepers.com

The members of this forum have come together to share our knowledge and experiences of fish keeping. We want to answer your questions, offer advice and fill the galleries with pictures of the fish we have all grown to love.

We are a unique community of Fish Keepers who seriously take our hobby to extremes and the NEXT level. its a rainbow wolf. :irked:

For roughly a week I did not have time to look at em, so i just threw feeders consisting of mollys and catfish into the tank.

I've seen the SAL eating the catfish and eating the pellets meant for the feeders...

Oh and just the other day, the rainbow wolf had what looked to be a bite at the top of its head and the SAL had a bottom area taken out ( see below)

thought it was due to fighting over the best hiding spot in the tank and decided to let them be and see how it goes and this is the result...

was my SAL just hungry ? or is it turning out to be a highly aggressive ass ?

It's probably just hungry. It should be on pellets, algae wafers, and pieces of fish & other seafood as keeping it on a non-live diet will go a long way for aggression.

Thanks. In fact, now i believe, my wolf fish had died from columnaris and the SAL just gutted it after. As now the other tankmates had gotten columanris. should have realized the hole at the top before he died was not from fighting but the disease...:swear:

but strangely the SAL don't seems to be infected.
