if I'm reading that correctly you need a permit but I highly doubt its hard to obtain...then again I wouldn't know...my state isn't exactly the worst place to own exotics lol.

Crocs are legal in NJ. However, any reptile listed as 'potentially dangerous' requires a permit to possess them in NJ. Crocs, gators, and caiman species are on that list. Check out the herp laws in the sticky articles of this forum for more info and links.
