Hi.. I have a Red eye GG about 15 inch. He doesn't like veggie's.. ( except peas ) he doesn't eat feeding fish.. He just like AZoo 9 in 1 Arowana sticks and blood worms.

Is it ok to continue with the same or need some special pellet.
Note: He loves pellets rather than fresh veggies.

Aro sticks and bw may be too high of a protein diet for a GG.

Have you tried fruits?

My GG vigorously eats everything that I toss into the tank, but it seems to really relish soft fruits like berries. I give him some pellets once a week just for a bit of protein.

You may just have to let your GG go hungry for a week until it gets hungry enough and eat its veggies.

While that food is supposed to be designed for carnivorous fish, with 7% fiber content IMO it's better geared for a GG, than an Aro.

Ingredients
Fish Powder, Flour, Spirulina, Wheat Powder, Fish Liver, Fish Oil, Krill, Astacine, Carotenoids, PSB, Yeast Powder, Glucan, Salt, Multivitamins, Minerals.

Guaranteed Analysis
Crude Protein
min. 40.0%
Crude Fat min. 4.8%
Crude Fiber max. 7.0%
Moisture max. 5.0%

I'm guessing that if one combined the flour, spirulina, and wheat powder, there would be more of those ingredients than fish powder.

If your GG is doing well on this diet I wouldn't worry about it. I have seen some truly monster GG"s raised on various pellets.

Got my GG when it was 2 inches...now 30+ inches. It literally eats everything but its staple diet are koi pellets since I have a koi pond as well. I gave the fish to my dad who loves aquarium fish in general but has managed to kill off everyone he has kept...but not this GG. Water conditions do not have to be pristine and it not being a picky eater made it the perfect fish for dad.

Poor guy is in a 120 gallon right now...planning on getting a 180 gal or 300 gal soon.

Now.. GG is even rejecting pellets. He just wants of blood worms.

Any idea so I can get him back to pellets and other food items.

Note: I have purchased this GG when he is 1 year old about 12 inch in size and has grew big only on blood worms as per my knowledge.

Simple, stop feeding blood worms. Eventually your fish will clue in and start accepting pellets again.
