Discus Raffle and ACA Fundraiser

Hello Everyone, Before anyone gets upset with this post, I did get permission from neoprodigy before posting this. I'll let you all know that Discus NADA www.discusnada.org is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. So here is the reason why we are doing this raffle. We are looking to raise money to be used at the 2009 ACA convention. www.2009aca.com Any leftover money not used at the convention will be donated to the ACA. www.cichlid.org

Hello Jim, Yes NADA will be sponsoring Division D which is the discus division. We will also be sponsoring one of the classes in the division, because there will be 4 classes. We are also bringing in one of the speakers. Our added expense is we will also be paying for the electrical hookups for the discus tanks. They plan on keeping the fish room at 78 degrees, but discus need 82 to 86 degrees. With the higher number being better right after transport to the show. When you hook up heaters at a hotel there are some codes that need to be followed and paid for. It's not the same as plugging a cord into a wall like in your house.

To Redchaser if you win we can delay shipping for a couple of weeks to accommodate you.
