DIY in tank bio filter.

so heres a pic; well drawing. so what do you think i made like 10min ago. kinda ugly in the tank but should work great. blk is filter fiber and green is bio. i i got one of the small critter keepers and put a small pump in it 50-100gph. then some tubing. filled almost to the with bio meda( i used gravel and 2 thing of fulvu, the put top on and stuff with filter fiber and you got a great bio filter. cheap and easy. i tell you how well it works :).

just get a 10g and put it above your tank with an overflow/drilled and pump and ur set

well this is kinda of a cheap filter for those who need one fast and cheap.

i don think it will be enough to really provide too much biofiltration those critter keeps are small... a 10 gal would be alot better as stated ( more surface area of the bio media is needed to have better bio filtration)

i holds a lot of bio media it can hold 52oz of fuluz thats alot and ist only in my 20g. :) but if you want a larger tank (150+) then i would use a 10gallon.
