I have a 125 gallon planted tank, fully cycled and about 3 months old. My EBC laid eggs and this is the first time going through this, looking for pointers.
I put a breeder net in my tank and set the eggs in it, they are now vibrating so looking promising! I have 6 EBC and 9 Denison barbs, the Denison barbs are all younger and about 2 inches, did not want to run the risk of eggs being eaten.
I didn’t put the fry in another tank for breeding as I only saw when the eggs were laid and though a net would be sufficient, it is good to keep them in the same tank to avoid shock right? I have two more 55 falllj that have no fish but are cycled. Should I have put them in there? Too big for fry?
I have an FX4 filter on the 125 but output is in other side of tank so not too much water movement, I did put a bubbler nearby the eggs. Will the fry be ok in a breeder net? Should I move them to the 55 gallon in the future? IMG_3166.jpeg
