So I have an electric blue Acara for over 2 months now he has been eating well and growing.
Suddenly 5 days ago he stopped eating and has developed a sunken belly.
I shifted him to a quarantine tank have done 70% water changes everyday.
his poop is not stringy but it’s like mucus as he is not eating.
I have tried every kind of food. From frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, freeze dried brine shrimp, pellets, cooked peas, flakes and all the hikarproducts for fresh water fish.
I have soaked it in garlic as well no luck.
I have started medication now thinking it can be worms. He has been treated for 2 days but still would not eat anything.
Except the sunken belly he is very healthy always comes up when I’m near his tank and tries to take food always but just spits it out. All my other fish are doing really well. Don’t know why he is not eating 🫤
I know the picture is not great as the tub is blurry.
no redness of gills or sign of physical stress or weird behavior!! No coloration loss as well.
