May need to specify which ones your looking into. Sharptoothbass keeps a good amount of them.

OH...IO
I've kept a few water cows. Interesting fish imo but not very active. You may want to try jade gobies instead as they are much more active, eat a better variety of food, more colorful and are always front and center at feeding time.

Was gonna keep to goby and sun together. The Wolf may be sold. That Wolf is more skittish since I added the sun. The goby is ten inches.

They'll be fine, they're greedy fish, I like them, don't put anything half its size with it, depending on body shape 3/4 should be avoided as well. They're not really territorial and even so don't fend to well. They max out at 17" supposedly but never seen one more than maybe 14". Will require a bigger tank than your 55g. Think you should focus on that before adding anything... anything specific you wanna know?

Ok picked it up and added it with the sun. I know that 55 is crowed but by years end it will still be a 125 or 180. They just need to spend a couple more months go the 55. Here's a few pics, it's more like 12 inches. I stepped up the filtration on the tank to two aquaclear 110s.
