just something thats been in my head a little while, something to think about!-)
sooo, its widely accepted by most on here that a standard 75 gallon 48x19x22inch tank it the minimum for a lone oscar (lets say 12 inch oscar) right, associate this to other fish and it seems way to small dont you think?
48 inch long = 4x length of fish
18 wide = 1.5x fish
22 tall = 1.9 fish
apply that to a betta, lets say 2inch you get an aquarium
8 inch long x 3 inch wide x 4 inch tall 0.42 gallon
(people would go sick on here if you kept a betta in a tank that size lol, i keep mine in a 2.2 gallon and feel bad!)
so convict at 5 inch = 20" L x 7.5" W x 10" tall 6.49 gallon
jd at 8 inch = 32" L x 12" W x 16" 26.6 gallon
