well i hope it works out for you man, i think i still prefer spinning for lure fishing. I do love my baitcasters though that i use for catfishing. i acutally took everything apart to clean it tonight, shad and bluegills scales everywhere lol those bad boys were dirty.
Outside of finesse worm fishing and small crank baits, ill say baitcaster all day, hands down. Im really big on them cause it put less pressure on my wrist when holding the pole.

If I got it right, here are the standout bass catches:
5lb+/2 landed
4lb+/6 landed
3lb+/16 landed

Pleanty of two pounders caught but I didnt bother to count them cause thats the average size bass landed in NJ.

Well a yesterday we got a 28 inch northern pike. Tonight we went crappie fishing between the 3 of us we kept 25 my one friend kept 6 and I was left with the other 19. We did release quite a few tonight that were a tad small the ones in the pic average around 10 inchs with the smallest 6 and the biggest 12.

I find it a little funny that I catch more crappie in one night then you caught in a whole season CF. No offense and I know you use artificals and did not target crappies either. ;)

The crappie look yummy!!

Yeah I dont target them much but when one decides to hit my spinny or small crank bait I enjoy the meal!

you eat northerns? Arent they quite bony? There is a good population around here that people treat as trash, so I am thinking I will just eat them when i catch them. Any tips?

Are there any good baitcasting reels with a clicker on it. I have a 7' Medium heavy pole that I want to put an Abu 7000 on but was just curious if there were the smaller baitcasters available with a clicker.
