To have a reel made just for that specific purpose seems redundant. Because you can just lower the drag on any reel and do the same thing. Also the graphite body is not he best for a fishing reel they tend bend.

Yeah I just lower the drag on my steelhead reels when bobber fishing But it is a pain in the ass to have to tighten down the drag. In the time it takes to do this you lose time and it only takes seconds for a steelhead to get wrapped up with 10 other guys lines.

Also likestofish I dont see why your so bent on Technique specific things. It makes things easy for all of us. I got a 7 Medium action Shimano rod for christmas because what I am doing I need a ML rod and a longer say 7'6" rod would be better.
