what is everyone's experience w/ flowerhorns and PH levels.

my PH is at 8 right now. should i try to lower it or you think a constant PH of 8 will be ok? and what techniques are there to lower, and maintain a lower PH level? thanks guys.

they say any pH from 7-8 is fine, if you dont like where its at, its better to have a stable pH, than a buffered unstable pH.
as for changing it, you can do water changes with RO/DI water, which is always at a consistent 7 pH. or, you can try buffering.

Many people won't buffer with chemicals.. use something like crushed coral to buffer up or driftwood to buffer down..
