15 gallons is not enough for a discus. They are fast swimmers and love tall tanks.
Discus need some sort of plants, real or plastic. If they have something to hide behind, they won't. Otherwise they will become skittish.
Cool tankmates are, Satanoperca Jurupari, Kuhli loach, neons. If kept with Kuhlis keep the temp around 81. No plecos, they suck on to them. I'd get it a discus friend. They pair off as adults as well and their reproduction is amazing. In a 55g you can keep about 8.
