      how much is the actual retail price for frontosa in north america. im not planning on buying one. is there a cheap version and a pricey version. like asian arowana and silver arowana

      there are lots of "versions" some are very pricey, some are not so- and im sure a lot are crosses of the different varieties

      The basic pet-shop Burundi front will run from $8+ depending on where you live and how available fronts are in your area. Pricey fronts can hit around $200 per fish for the really hard-to-get wild localities.
      As far as looks go, there isn't much of a drastic difference between one variant or another.

      lfs around here just have them listed as "6-stripe" Frontosa and they got for $20 @ 2"

      here they are $20-$35 depends on where you go and thats starting at 1inch.

      i got mine for 45 @ 2.5 inch but he is a 7 stripe...really glows!
