Just showing him off a bit. Started moving around stock and tanks. So added him and a pair of cons to a 55.

My awful phone camera don't do any justice, and he was not trying to stay still.

And for only being 4" he has some gnarly teeth. Haha

At like 6" mine really started to have his color pop . Mine likes to hide often too sometimes. Nice fish !

Thanks, yeah at this size he is still quite shy, he does hide a lot. That's why I added the con pair in with him. So he chases them around as well. Them being small 1"f 2"m. and it allowed me to break down my 30g.

I just wish he would grow faster haha. It's painfully show. My cons have doubled in size in only a month.

Yeah I thought it looked a lil female wasn't sure. My male has alot of puzzle like markings between his eyes on his face

I have never vented it. I guess I can do that tomorrow when im doing my wc's. Now that I actually look at it I see how it could look female. Because of its awful growth rate I never paid it any mind. haha. But for some reason today I noticed all the blue hues... they really are stunning fish. the cons are cool too i guess haha.
