It is it was just moved tanks because I had to clean its tank and it just got moved backDon't know if it's male or female, but it looks stressed.
I got a pucture if you can see it its kinda a bad quality I tried to get it the best I couldWelcome to MFK!
It is a low grade flower horn and at 3 yrs old and not a short bodied fish it should be a lot bigger than 4". Since flower horns are hybrids they don't always follow the rules that apply to pure species and venting is the only way to be 100% sure. However if I had to take an educated guess from that photo I would guess a male. Most amphilophus sp and hybrids there of have black extending onto the dorsal fin which I don't see on your fish but again this is only a guess and can't be considered 100% accurate.
Ok thanks for the helpSorry pics not clear enough to tell. Take a look at this and maybe you can sex it yourself. Let me know what you think.

he used to stay in a 80 gallon but my dad got a oscar so he got moved to a 40 gallon also will he get a bigger kok/hump?How is that possible 4 inches in 3 years? I have flowerhorns that grew 4 inches in 4 months.
How big is your tank? Looks like a male btw but I'm still shocked at how tiny he is at 3 years
I'm still shocked how it's so small but your tank is not even that small. It is a low grade Flowerhorn and no it will not grow much bigger than that. It's genetics and from what I hear flowerhorns live 5 years or so.he used to stay in a 80 gallon but my dad got a oscar so he got moved to a 40 gallon also will he get a bigger kok/hump?
(When I first got him he stayed in a 80 gallon, now he stays kin a 40 gallon for a shorter version)
