My female bichir has an extremely swollen stomach. It has been swollen since we got her(2-3 years ago) but now it has gotten much bigger. Is it something to worry about. There is another male bichir in the tank btw

That looks like either blockage or bloat. I would put some salt and anti-bacterial meds in the tank. And crank the heat up to 83-85. How long has it been the way it currently looks? Did it get there gradually or did it just show up one day?

Couple days and gradually but she has been swollen since we got her its just it got a litle bigger recently

Try dosing with epsom salt. I think its 1 tbls per 10 gals.

Is qt for now. Add Epsom salt 1tbs per 10g. Add maracyn2/ prazi pro or kanamycin/prazipro. Keep water clean. Don't feed for now.

How is is acting? Suspect something congenital that's now become complicated......from what u describe. Any new tankmates?

Water change and epsom salt, dessolve the epsom salt first before adding in the tank.
