75 gallons isnt enough for one?Welcome to MFK!
I would advise against adding even 1 Oscar, since your tank would be crampy for even a single specimen, much less 2. Plus, Oscars grow very fast, so even if you get them while they are small, they will outgrow that tank in no time. Just a friendly advice, and again welcome
The thing is Oscars get bigger than a foot long and pretty quick. For now it will be okay I bet you in 6 months it will not be okay. They will most likely eat your pike cichlid they don't get that big and Oscars are nasty.75 gallons isnt enough for one?
Depends on who you ask. I feel a 75 would be 'ok' for 1 O by itself, but definitely not 2. Plus, there could be aggression issue between the O and the pike, once the O hits maturity75 gallons isnt enough for one?
I see however if that pike gets eaten we have some problems lmao hes already almost a foot long. I plan on upgrading inthe future though to something alot biggerThe thing is Oscars get bigger than a foot long and pretty quick. For now it will be okay I bet you in 6 months it will not be okay. You should wait until you get the larger tank before getting the O. Like I said, they grow super fastI see however if that pike gets eaten we have some problems lmao hes already almost a foot long. I plan on upgrading inthe future though to something alot bigger
