the acei is a shoaling fish, so it likes chilling with other acei, but not schooling necessarily, i work at a pet shop and noticed when i finally got all the fish in the right place, and all the aceis together, they brightened up and got more iridescent and gorgeous black stomacks, making them look more macho!
so more acei= prettier acei.
