Ive noticed that people are constantly asking questions about the best way to seal a plywood tank so I thought I would make a thread to summarize some of the proven methods. While its inevitable that certain people are emphatic supporters of specific products that theyve had success with, it is important to remember that there are several ways to successfully waterproof a tank and the best method for you ultimately depends on specifics of your build. The point of this thread is not to endorse a particular product or method but rather to provide comprehensive, unbiased and reliable information about several of the currently available methods that have been used successfully so that you can ultimately make your own educated decision. If you wish to contribute to this thread I would ask that you please respect this and try to post detailed information rather than just product cheerleading. Also, please try to keep unnecessary questions and clutter out of this thread so we can hopefully make it a sticky.
