So hurricane will be in Florida by sunday and the worse nightmare in fish keeping arises. Power outage, I need advice on the best / cheapest solution I can do in case of a power outage . My tank is a 220G tank, heavily stocked with predator, all fish are 15" + , so I will need good aeration . I currently have 2 x Massive 5" round air stones, but im going to need something to run this babies at full power. Anything out there I can purchase to power them and maybe a power head or circulation pump? even a small generator would do. Lmk guys, Thank you

There's a few good threads from a while back on the subject but generators or UPS(uninterruptable power supply) seems the best remedy and pray for little impact.

Get a generator.

You'll spend less money on the generator than you'd spend replacing your fish if they die. Get 15 gal gasoline and a stack of DVDs.

You may have some Watts leftover to power your window unit A/C, tv and DVD player..

UPS are great for power outages of less than an hour.
With a hurricane, we're in a different ballgame...
