Oh yeah it has to be but no one seems to want to be bothered with it.I once spotted a guy with a cart that had about twenty turtles in the little containers and he was trying to sell them for ten bucks each.
Not going to lie I'd most likely mug the dude for his turtles. I hate people that do that ish...profit off animals like that.

I sure felt like doing something like that.I'm willing to bet that all of those turtles eventually went to someone who has no clue of how to properly care for them.

absolutely they did, just like rtc's in the fish stores.

There's a post right now on CL that's selling res hatchlings for $20. That's why I posted this to see if it's legal. I know that during the spring time I see a bunch of baby turtles being sold at flea markets. Sad that most will never survive.
