Flowerhorns can be a bit tricky, but the nuchal hump growth seems to suggest male. Venting would be the only way to tell for sure.
Aggression to another fish likely isn’t a gender thing, but just a territorial aggression thing. Flowerhorns are highly aggressive mutts that generally will not tolerate anything in their living space.
