juru or true tigrinis???

This fish was sold to me as a false tigrinis but this fishes pattern is very light compared to my 8 juru cat. Just wanna see what you guys think either way he is in a grow out and will be going to my 210 once he gets a little size. He is currently 3in. Thanks

Well,I could be wrong but to me the mouth and head shape are different on the two species,they look the same on your two fish.

I just know the larger juru has always been dark just like all the others i have always seen. Idk. This ones pattern is just very light

I agree with the others. Due to the mouth. Tigs have flatter heads it seems as well.

It's a juruense. Tigs, for one, never have just dark fins. They are white with markings. The caudal upper lobe white, bottom dark is convention for jurs too.
