kiddie pools as ponds. What type should i look for?

I like the idea, but you could also just build a square frame out of cheap plywood and then buy a pond liner and you basically have the same thing only the size you want and depth you want. IF you dig a hole you really don't even need to use the expensive plywood, you could use fiber board.

plastic becomes slimy in a few days and attracts fungi......forget it or you lose your precious fishes

kiddie pools are good but only last for about one season look into livestock troughs these are available at most feed stores or tractor supply order for you they look better and last forever even outside. they will not polute the water and you dont have to paint them to cover up the ugly design
