Thank you for posting that. Interesting to read about our fish in the wild. I was surprised at the average lengths of both the endi and Sen groups. I would have thought there would have been some larger specimens in the group esp the endis

Perhaps it had something to do with the september/October months regarding the smaller sizes caught in the report. Where did all the monster endli sizes go? Just speculation, but due to the high demand of the ornamental trade. Also, the fact that these scientists required heavy assistance and cooperation from local fishermans. I suspect the end destination for larger sized was to our aquariums or human consumption. Just a hunch. I could be wrong of course.
 
While I don't keep polys myself (I don't think I'm allowed to keep them here?) I found that to be a very interesting read. Thanks for sharing. :)
