Do any of you guys happen to know how to tell the difference between male n female? I asked other people before but they only told me vague answers such as "the tail" or "the anus." Can any one be a little more specific and easier to understand? Thanks.

Usually females will have a black spot on their dorsal fin and usually the males won't....sometimes this isn't the case but every female I've had has the spot.

Here's my female...norice rhe plack spots on it's dorsal (back) fin..

Notice on this male the absence of the dark spot on dorsal fin...and the males are just bigger and beefier...this is usually the easiest way to tell, but sometimes it won't tell you for sure...

for me the most acurate to tell if a FH is female is to wait until she lay eggs...that is 100% sure you have a female FH
