I have got 3 new baby goonches yesterday which is originated from sumatra. Would like to know your opinion on these ones.There are almost certainly two species within B. sp. "Indochina". One being Bagarius lica from the mainland and Bagarius nieuwenhuisii from Indonesia. We are currently data deficient to be able to tell the difference, we just know that there are two heavily spotted varieties known to exist. You likely have both species, with your Indonesian B. nieuwenhuisii being exceptionally rare in the hobby. The mainland B. lica is far more common.
