My jack dempsey cichlid keep breeding and all these eggs going unfertilzied

My pair JD breeding and laying eggs then 1-2 days later eggs turns white.(unfertilized) females have no problem with laying eggs, i tought male dont fertile over the eggs because eggs always turns white and not succeed. Any suggestion,advice?

How long have they been trying to breed? Often it takes cichlids a few tries to get it right when it comes to raising the eggs.

I got lucky with my NBA. They breed like once a month and on the 6th batch now I think. I only ever see maybe 4 to 6 go bad the other 600 are hatching in 2 days. It could like the other person said or your male just isn't mature enough, or something is wrong with eggs. Hopefully it'll go right soon. What kind of food do u feed? I try to give a varied diet. Flake, pellet frozen ( multiple types).
