Need help from someone who knows allot about Arapiamas

I saw some pellets that are specifically made for bringing out red in fish can't remember the brand though. Krill should also help. I have a leichartdi arowana and I feed it krill and it has brighter red spots than any picture I've seen. Change the diet and see if that doesn't help. I don't think keeping it in a smaller tank would have too much to do with color. Possible background, lighting and gravel would have a more profound effect but I'm not an arapaima expert and the arowana is the closest example i have lol

coloration might differ from fish to fish but pellets definatley bring out the colors in some cases

Hi, arowanas keepers in Hong Kong and Singapore periodically feed their fishes with baby centipedes, small scorpions and crickets for their super blood red colour, and they claim those treats work wonderfully, You may try that on your arapiamas. I think it may work.

Just be very careful when handling those treats cos they are poisonous and able to give u a nasty bite. Or u could put them into freezer to froze them if u dun wanna handle them alive.
