Welcome to MonsterFishKeepers.com

The members of this forum have come together to share our knowledge and experiences of fish keeping. We want to answer your questions, offer advice and fill the galleries with pictures of the fish we have all grown to love.

We are a unique community of Fish Keepers who seriously take our hobby to extremes and the NEXT level. The majority of our fish collections include RARE & EXOTIC Species of all sizes, BIG FISH with BIG APPETITES and BIG TANKS. It's not easy for most people or other "regular" fish keepers to understand why we maintain this type of collection and spare no expense on this fascinating hobby.

Hopefully, through this site and discussion forums we can encourage the next generation of Monster Fish Keepers to have the same passion and love we have for the hobby and our Monster Fish .

Well there are 3 things you can do.
      1. Pull the turtle out of its mouth possibly hurting the rtc.
      2. Leave it eat it. And it may be spit out later by the rtc.
      3. Keep a eye on it so it doesn't choke.

I guess 3 is a combination of 1 and 2. I have seen pics of rtc eating suction cups and spitting them out.

RTCs are active when they are hungry so the fish not moving much after eating the turtle is not suprising.

My guess is that the RTC will puke it up at some point. Good luck and keep an eye on it.

Mine once ate a rock-like plant fertilizer tab. He was weirdly polygonal until he puked it up. It turned out to be a moot point when a lungfish I stupidly had in the same tank as him bit him in half later that day. :irked:

Yeah, it'll be fine. RTC eat just about anything, it'll either digest it or chuck it after a while.
