Im new to gar because i could never had a chance to have any in California, but here they are.

Big change. But lost all my California fish in a fire shortly after moving here.

I didn't see in your original post where you had moved to (although I may have overlooked it or my IPhone isn't displaying everything). Oddball mentioned you had moved to the Buckeye State. Curious where in Ohio did you move to. Sorry to hear of your fish loss but good luck on the gar. My 11 year old just told me tonight that he wanted us to get one. I've never had them either so interested in reading what others have to say.
