Actually...Peacocks and Mbuna CAN interbreed. That's how the OB peacock happened. Since peacocks are little breeding machines, it's also highly likely when kept in the same tank(more likely you'll get broods with multiple fathers too).

Aside from aggression from some Mbuna to the peacocks...the real reason they shouldn't be housed is different diet. Most of your Mbuna are PURE herbivores, while peacocks require protein in their diets. They also prefer open water to the rocky homes of the Mbuna. Just an FYI. =)
