Lrry93, thanks so much for the photos with kids - we can gauge the window placement. I now can tell and am reminded why I didn't go this route and I also agree with others that this tank is ok for a fish that's on the move or sits almost always mid water. Other than that, it is hardly suitable for my purposes of public display or even for personal viewing.

... Unless, as suggested, the bottom is brought up with gravel or some other way. Even then though the corners are too wide for my purpose.

BTW, is the window glass or acrylic?

Lrry83, AFAIK, counterintuitively, the window on 720 is smaller a bit than a window on 600 gal, or so it was 4 years ago.

Where are you located and how much will you want for it?
He's from Indianapolis.

The window is glass. Not acrylic at all as suggested in this thread earlier.

For the price compared to a all acrylic tank I can deal with the limited viewing.

When I ordered Pentair stated that the window was larger on the 720 and I had them measure ones in stock to confirm. Maybe they lied but that is the info I received.

I do live in indy and it would be new price as the tank is still new and stored in my house. I already have one party willing to pay the price but he is trying to figure out space to put it. 8' x4" is a big footprint.

I had thought the window on the 600 was bigger then the 720 as well.....now I'm confused as to which one is bigger

I just called they told me

600 gallon 8x4x2.5 Window size - 67.25 x 15.75

720 gallon - 8x4x2 Window size 67.25 x 18

So yes the window size on the 720 is larger but you get a better viewing area on the 600

For those of you on here that have either the 720 gallon or 600 gallon can you please list the viewing window size please..... I have a feeling that most of you that ordered these 5+ years ago may have gotten larger sized windows then the ones produced currently.....I'm just curious and wanted to know since the customer service for this company is straight garbage and I don't trust a word they say....especially Kevin who works there is extremely rude

Thanks guys, helpful info.

Pacu Mom, thanks for the kind compliment and yes I've seen this tank and enjoyed reviewing these threads again. It looks like we don't know the manufacturer or I've missed it. Anyone knows???

The 3" acrylic viewing window is excellent but $50,000 for a 14'x7'x6' would be too much for me. As stated I got two 4500 gal Dolphin FG 13'x13'x4.5' with 8'x4'x2.5" window for $32,000 for both with better physical footprint and adequate viewing for my purposes.

Did you get the 600? The difference in window size is worth upgrading to the 720. I had to completely remove a exterior door frame and all to get it in my house. If you have French doors it wont be a issue. Drive down and buy mine. I may sell it and go a different route.
That's the reason we had to go with the 600 gallon. The 600 gallon tank (30" tall) barely fit through both doors to make it to its final destination in our basement. In fact, I think there's some streaks of blue on both door jambs still...lol.
