Hello everyone! Is it possible to house a Polypterus in my 75 gallon tank? Is it too small for them?

which kind of poly? There are a lot of polys that will do fine in a 75, in fact a lot of the captive bred species widely available now would do alright in a 75, for a good long while anyhow.

Upper jaw polys are good except for an ornate and weeksii just cause of size they may attain. The others are good to go.

an endli is going to push the limits of your 75 very quickly. I'd stick with upper jaws, senegals, delhezis will be the 2 species most readily available.

They are nice polys, but get on the larger side from what I know. I can tell you my delhezi is pushing the width of my 150 right now, and they don't get nearly as large lol.
