Pot scrubbies in a FX 6 ?

Scrubbies serve as great surface for biomedia, both in sumps and canisters. I've used them both ways with great results. For canisters, I've had them in both Rena Filstars and FX5s.

+1 scrubbies have a ton of surface area, are cheap, and easy to clean. Usable in just about any filter. Found this chart on another MFK thread. As you can see they have one of the highest surface areas per cubic foot

I have been very happy using Bio Bale from CPR aquatics in all of my large cannisters. It comes in gallon size and to clean its one mass of pvc to pull out of the canister, quite simple and has been doing the bio duty on my tanks no problem. A gallon bag will fit a 2217 nicely and several if you are using in a 2260/62. Only issue is getting it in Canada is a real pain
