Hi Everyone,
Im slightly new at this, but I was looking into trying something new and want to start my first 120 Gallon African Cichlid tank. I understand a majority of African Cichlids are herbivores but I wanted to try and make an agressive & carnivorous African Cichlid tank. Has anyone ever approached this kind of tank before? Can any one tell me about their personal experiences and even some species of fish they would recommend?

Well, some of the most aggressive ones are herbivores...but if it is carnivores you want, you can look into some of the larger haps such as eye biters, venustus, aristochromis christyi etc.

They are more open water fish so not so many rocks. They are also bigger...
