I have one RBP, he’s 3.5 yrs old and I have had him by himself for his whole life. Would there be any benefit to getting a few other ps to make a shoal? He’s by himself in a 75 and I have invested quite a lot to make it a top notch setup so I don’t have the capital to get anything bigger. I’ve found some similarly sized ps on eBay near me but I am rather attached to this one and would be rather saddened by any collateral damage incurred if the shoal did not get along. What’s the best move? If it’s a bad idea to get more (which I feel like it probably is since I can’t get a bigger setup) what’s the best way to provide some more stimulation for my solo buddy? Thanks in advance for any ideas

I agree, they are a shoaling fish but don’t necessarily need others to be comfortable.
Having 3 in a 75 would be doable but only if raised together, adding some much later would invite aggression imo.
