I have a female killin and she hasnt been eating for a week now. I removed all the tankmates and she starts to swim around. I feed her pellets and she would eat them and spit them out. Today, I see a protruding red anus. Please help. What is this and how do I treat it.

I don't have any experience with this in fish, but it looks like an anal prolapse...I have seen it in other animals but never fish. When we had to treat other animals with it, we would kinda...just coat it in ky and push it back in...but like I said, I have never seen it in fish. Good luck with it...

try shelled blanched peas and consider a veggie pellet to give a couple of times a week to ensure good intestinal health or peas a couple of times a week.

I have the exact same problem with My jaguar...tried epson salt dips, veggie diet...no success after almost 3 weeks. At this point I'm going to try the "pinch and tuck in" method.
