What are your parameters and temp in the tank like? Maybe that could be causing problems?

Ive noticed everytime ive gotten mystery snails they seem dead but i do a small water change and they come right to life. My water parameters are always just about perfect but the snails just act weird at first.

Yes, it could be copper poisoning. Shrimp don't care for it either.

Snails can be sensitive to metals and their shells turn a grey/ white when either acidity is to high or there is not enough calcium
