Hi all

I currently have a 125G - 5ft by 18 inches and a 65G tank.

In my 125, I have a blood parrot, bristlenose pleco and a few bosemani rainbows - these will be getting transferred to the 65 I think. I am wondering if I could add in some larger cardinal tetras to school.

Ideally, I wanted to do an oscar in my 125, but I am wondering if the tank is maybe a bit too small and if there is a different sort of statement fish for a 125?

What would you do? Open to all options and ideas. I was also thinking angel fish or something of the like.

Thanks

What’s the height on the 125? 5 foot seems like odd dimensions to me - usually they are 6 feet long.
Knowing the 65 dimensions would also help. If the footprint is right, that can work. Any tetras that don’t get eaten by the parrot would become rainbowfish food though.

As for the 125, if you just want a solo fish, the Oscar or an amphibious would be my go to if it’s really a 6 foot.

Thank you - yes I think they are both odd dimensions - 5 x 18 x 26 and 3ft x 18 x 24 (roughly, might be off slightly)

I meant moving the parrot over to the 65 - it would be too cramped in there.
