Substrat Pro vs Ehfisubstrat Pro

Whats the difference. I was looking on amazon and I see both. Different box pictures and prices. I look online and again I see both listed separately and some places seem to use box picture interchangeably. I see different places listing the same product/size and have different mfg number?!?!? Help me out here.

What is the difference? Is there any?

How much to fill two trays in a Sunsun 303B? Will two liters fill two trays? Or do I need more? Please advise.

Not sure on SunSun but it took a little over 5 liters (10 total) to fill all 3 trays on each FX5 using Ehfisubstrate

But an FX5 is a huge unit correct? The base of mine is like 9-10". Trays are 2-3 inches deep

The FX5 trays are appx 8-9" round and 3" deep.

Sounds like we need a database sticky of tray volumes for different medias. PM?

Good thread suggestion.. might sound anal but (how is a language built when those two words coexist in a normal sentence) you'll thank that easily accessable list when ordering your setup..

Just drop a measure tape in there when you clean or set one up..

Substrate pro is spherical and doesn't pack like gravular substrate. My opinion is use the pro for the first stages as it won't clog and regular substrate for the final stages because it will pack tighter.
